Reception (EYFS)

At Kings Priory, in Reception, we ensure our children are not only wonderfully cared for, but also develop a broad range of skills and knowledge, which provide the strong foundation for their school journey and life.

The children are at the centre of all our learning and teaching approaches and our provision reflects this as it is tailored to enable all children to succeed. We encourage independence and positive relationships through deepening the child’s thinking and providing challenge. We strive to provide a safe, stimulating and happy environment to support the children to build resilience and develop in confidence.

We believe that all children bring with them deep curiosity and potential, are competent, capable thinkers and learners as well as creative communicators and conversationalists. In the Early Years at Kings Priory, we aim to create a learning environment that is inspiring, engaging and a happy place to learn and grow.
