Catering
Catering to pupils, staff and visitors is provided throughout the school by an experienced and enthusiastic in house team of Chefs and Catering Assistants.
First School
On Percy Park Road site we deliver a traditional school meals service providing homemade food from quality ingredients. All meals conform to the School Food Plan and the Government standards for school food. Priced at £2.55. See our Whole School Menu below for the Meal of the Day, which is on a three week rotation.
Middle & Senior School
At Huntington Place, Café K is the venue for pupils in the Middle and Senior School. In addition to the Whole School Menu, Middle school pupils (Year 5-8) have access to a Deli Salad Bar as well as Pasta of the Day and Curry of the Day. These are also priced at £2.55. This price includes a dessert.
Senior School pupils have an extended menu which is available for pupils from Year 9 - 11, this includes the lunch options above as well as many other popular food choices that have evolved following consultation with School Council.
At break time, we offer a selection of hot and cold snacks including baked french stick, bagel with cream cheese, sausage/bacon sandwiches as well as fruit and porridge for Years 7 – 11.
Sixth Form
The Sixth Form Centre is home to Café Six. This popular café serves a selection of sandwiches, paninis, soup, salads and daily Chef’s specials for lunch. As well as a full coffee menu, the café also serves a selection of cakes and iced tea and coffee.
We are passionate about our food and care greatly for the pupils and strive to provide the balance of nutrients they need and enjoy.
Food from Thought
Food provenance is extremely important to us. All of the milk we use at Kings Priory is from an award winning local organic dairy farm. The eggs we use are always Lion branded British free range. All of the meat we use is from British accredited farms and fish is responsibly sourced.
